Kundalik platform in Uzbekistan

In the Republic of Uzbekistan, in order to digitalise the school education process, improve the computer competence of teachers, eliminate the digital inequality and improve the quality of education in general, in August, 2018 the Ministry of Public Education announced the selection of companies for cooperation in the form of a public and private partnership.

In 2020 Kundalik signed the first national IT project through a public private partnership (PPP) agreement in Uzbekistan.

The eMaktab platform created by Kundalik became a unified digital education platform of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The eMaktab platform enables the creation of class schedules, the development of teachers' lesson plans, and the tracking of student attendance and academic performance in electronic gradebooks - all in real time.

It also provides educational organisations and management authorities with tools to generate statistical reports. For students and their parents, eMaktab provides 24/7 access to grades and homework, as well as additional educational resources.

In just two years eMaktab platform has become top 3 of the most visited websites in the country, surpassed in popularity only by YouTube and Google.

The number of unique users per day (DAU) has increased 91 times in 5 years! And this figure continues to grow year on year.

The average length of each session is 13.5 minutes, an amazing result for any IT product.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, thanks to the eMaktab platform by Kundalik, the education process was not stopped for a single day in any school of the country
  • The Ministry of Public Education, together with the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, arranged the broadcasting of video lessons on the TV channels in accordance with the curriculum. The video lessons were also posted on the website of the eMaktab platform.
  • Online lessons were conducted through the platform via Zoom. 
  • Homework assignments were issued, fulfilled by students, controlled by parents, checked and evaluated by teachers. 
  • Digital content, digital lessons were assigned to students and evaluated by teachers. 
  • Grades were input into the Platform, comments issued by teachers.
